Colourful, fun and beautifully textured, Lisa Jane's paintings are scenes of poker games, poker stars and poker hands. Her works capture the tension, characters and moods present in the world's most popular card game.
Works from both the Oil and Charcoal series have been collected by some of the worlds best poker players including Phil Ivey, James Akenhead and The Unabomber (Phil Laak).
Inspiration for her work comes from an addiction to televised late night poker, Vegas casinos and gambling folk. Visual influences include Graffiti Art, Pop Art and the candy colour themes reminiscent of 1950's cartoons.
She works in a studio in England.
